For 5 months now, Wouter Cox has been a PhD researcher at UvA. Last summer, research funder NWO asked him, as it does other funded researchers, for a plan to store his research data and to make them reusable. Wouter himself tells how it went on from there.

Research groups test figshare
RESEARCH GROUPS TEST FIGSHARE

This spring a few UvA research groups will be working with figshare, a system for online storing and sharing research data. In exchange for early access, these early adopters at FGw and FMG help by discovering any unhoped-for remaining bugs and finding out what support is needed, for example in the form of a manual.
