This year 15 undergraduates from Leiden, Nijmegen and Amsterdam participate in the Semester in Russia organized by the NIP. They can choose from three courses: language acquisition, cultural history of Saint Petersburg and History of Russian Art. 2 February – 29 April.

The NIP Buddies programme aims to support Dutch students during their stay in Saint Petersburg. It's an easier way to adjust to new realities, practice language, learn new fellows, and get the hang of the Russian way of life. The NIP offers up to three months stay in Russia to Dutch and international MA-students of the participating universities as well as to recently graduated students for writing a research proposition. Aim of the scholarship is to help students who want to make a stay in Russia a part of their research. The next deadline is April the 1st.

Are you an enthousiastic student with knowlegde of Russian and Dutch, studying at one of the participating universities? An internship at the NIP could be an option for you. BA-students can also work on their project in Russia in our interdisiplinary environment, usinig facilities, network and access to archives and libraries.

To ensure an intellectually diverse setting we offer a one- to two-week long residency to scientists from all academic disciplines, writers, journalisits, translators and artists. In return, the guest may give a lecture, seminar or workshop or participates in our activities.
